Bindings for your Bachelor's thesis, Master's thesis, dissertation, etc.

Hotmelt binding
The hotmelt binding: The classic among bindings
Hotmelt binding is the best-known binding method of all. The classic, so to speak. We print your Bachelor's thesis / Master's thesis on the paper of your choice (more information in the Print). We then add black cardboard to the back or glossy foil to the front (do you want a different cardboard color? Then simply leave us a short note in the comments field during the ordering process). We then glue this stack together with a black pleating tape and that's it.

Spiral binding
The spiral binding: sturdy and practical
Spiral binding is an inexpensive way to bind a thesis. We punch holes on the left edge of the work and attach the desired spiral to the stack. You can choose from the colors white, black or silver for the wire. The production time (depending on the number of pages and desired copies) is usually 1 working day, sometimes even faster. Express service is possible (completion within half a working day or less), but only by prior arrangement to clarify everything. You can also contact us at any time.

Please check with your university/university of applied sciences whether spiral binding is permitted for a Bachelor's or Master's thesis, for example. In our experience, a perfect binding, softcover binding or hardcover binding is mandatory. Spiral binding is therefore suitable for exemplars that have to be proofread again or for "small" papers such as a seminar paper, term paper or similar.
Softcover binding
Softcover binding: The elegant version
Another elegant variant of binding is the softcover binding. This "encloses" the printed pages almost completely and most closely resembles the cover of a paperback book. This type of binding therefore does not require a folded binding (see glue binding above), but offers an uninterrupted look from the left over the spine to the right. Depending on the size of the work and the number of copies required, the production time is 1-2 working days. You can calculate the cost of softcover binding below. Note: The binding usually only lasts with sufficient sheets of paper, but the calculator takes this into account.

Express orders are also possible for this type of binding. However, as the production is more complex than with perfect binding or spiral binding, it is essential to make arrangements in advance. Contact details can be found here.
Hardcover binding: Deluxe and Standard
Hardcover "Deluxe": Looks classy, feels good
The "Deluxe" hardcover binding is by far the most elegant solution for presenting a bachelor's thesis, master's thesis, etc. and emphasizes the dedication and effort that the author has put in. As with a book, the front and back are made of sturdy cardboard. The cover is made of adhesive foil. We produce the "Deluxe" hardcover binding by hand, so a corresponding lead time is essential during production. Added to this is the drying time of the adhesive. Depending on the scope of the work and the number of copies required, a production time of 1-3 working days can be expected.

In addition, a deluxe binding is only possible from a certain number of pages, so that the spine is thick enough for gluing. Alternatively, you can also choose a thicker paper to achieve the required thickness (simply test in the calculator below).
We can do the typesetting/design for the cover for you. Just tell us your idea and we will make you an offer. You can order here Contact us. By the way, for all bindings, you have to use your Convert Word file to PDF should.
Hardcover "Standard": The clamp binding
The "Standard" hardcover variant is a clamp binding and is an inexpensive alternative to the classic "Deluxe" hardcover binding. The lower price is due to the lower workload and the already finished cover. Specifically, we push the printed copies of your bachelor's or master's thesis to the spine of the cover and clamp the pages in place. The appearance of the "Standard" hardcover binding differs only marginally from the conventional clamp binding.
