Specifically, it was 1 mm rigid PVC, which we were to print and cut to size for subsequent assembly. See photos below to click through.
1mm rigid PVC
Let's start with the material we're talking about this time: rigid PVC. Rigid PVC - can be ordered online here - is an extremely hard-wearing and impact-resistant material. Long-term use, even outdoors, does not affect this material at all: Sun, rain, snow, hail, the rigid PVC can take it all. This starts with the thinnest version of 1 mm and continues up to 5 mm rigid PVC. The latter is suitable for construction site signs, for example, and is extremely lightweight and robust.
The 1 mm version, on the other hand, is much lighter and flexible in large formats, but always unbreakable. For a long time now, the Pedal heroes this material to showcase the advertisers on the Rickshaw.
Installation of advertising panels accurate to the millimeter
Milling the rigid PVC panels with millimeter precision is essential. This is because the rickshaws have several advertising spaces with oval, trapezoidal, curved shapes. The pedal heroes apply the panels to these - and of course they have to fit exactly. (A little tip: if you are looking for an eye-catching advertising medium, the pedal heroes are the right people for you!)
The assembly itself was done by the pedal heroes with double-sided adhesive tape (see photos). And off we go again with the rides through Munich and many contacts between advertising media and Munich residents.
Would you like to challenge us too? We look forward to hearing from you.
Yours, Matthias Wenzel
